MT-Stables

'We are Marcel and Tamara van Manen. In August 2010 we married and bought our farm and stables in Kootwijkerbroek, The Netherlands, in January 2011. From there we started our own company named MT-stables. Our main activity is preparing studs and mares for the inspections of the KWPN and other studbooks. We also prepare them for

the IBOP or PAVO-cup. Next to preparing horses for various inspections, MT-stables are also equine dealers. Because of this we got in contact with TopHorseManagement and formed a partnership. Our main goal is to offer quality in every aspect of what we do. It starts with recognizing horses with talent and class, which is followed by getting the best out of our horses and bring forth their character and skill. This we realize with professional training. It goes hand in hand with excellent stable management, meaning we make sure that facilities, feed, caretaking and schedules are of top quality. This level of professionalism and excellence is found at MT-stables as well as THM.' 

Marcel was born in 1983 and got raised in a family where horses were part of daily life. Before he started his study at OAC Groene Welle in Zwolle, The Netherlands, he spend half a year in Canada and the US to learn and experience the way horsemanship and stable management are practiced in these parts of the world. After this experience, he got the chance wot work for his uncles in Ede, The Netherlands. At their stud farm he learned how to prepare a horse for inspection, show or competition in the best way possible. He experienced and was part of many successes the stables accomplished e.g. Nassau, Special D, Brainpower and many more inspection champions. Due to this, he is able to continue this success with his own company.

In 1982, Tamara was born. After her study at Deurne* in The Netherlands where she followed a higher secondary study she became self-employed. She trained many horses for various people and prepared them to perform in professional sport. Starting at thirteen, she participated in many competitions and has experience with different horses. She is currently riding at a sup-top level and she continues to climb higher up the ladder.
